WARNING! GLOBAL TECH SCAM – Whirlpool Forums full thread available here:

New scam company calling themselves;

GT ALLIANCE and/or
GT AUSTRALIA and/or
GLOBAL TECH

making the rounds… Beware!

The websites they use are:

http://www.gtalliance.net/

and

http://www.gtaustralia.com/

and

http://www.globaltech.global/

They sell predictive investment software which they claim can turn a $2000 investment into $60000 in 2 years. This is done by making 18% a month in profits. Anyone with any stock market knowledge will tell you this is impossible. The program actually does nothing except randomly pick stocks. People who’ve used the software make nothing. They charge $19400 for the software and then call you back in a week of two and try and sell you a second license.

They’ve made a bunch of fake “awards” sites to back up their fraudulent claims.

The fake awards for GT Alliance are:

http://www.dynamicinvestor.net/‎

http://finance-news-network.net/fnn-awards/

The fake awards for GT Australia are:

The fake awards for Global Tech are:

Has anyone been contacted by these shonks? Please share your experiences so that we can help people avoid being scammed. If you’ve purchased the software call your bank and put a stop on the payment as it is a fraudulent transaction. Do a chargeback if it’s already gone through. Otherwise there are some ideas for getting your money back on the OWS Scam thread.

The company changes their name every 6 months or so. Here are some threads on its previous incarnations:
